The depth of depravity that the nation has sunk to was on full display when LGBTQ activists at New York City's annual drag queen parade, held June 23rd chanted, "We’re here, we’re queer, we’re coming for your children," (New York Post, June 24, 2023); and in Seattle when naked men paraded in front of families and children. This is only two recent examples of debauchery that has been witnessed from coast to coast. Going back to 2021, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus, was recorded singing a song with the following lyrics, "We'll convert your children. Someone's gotta teach them not to hate. We're coming for them. We're coming for your children." (Snopes.com)

Have we as a society gotten so preoccupied that the care and well being of our children has been handed over to others? Weigh carefully what is found in Nehemiah 4:14, “Don’t be afraid of them, remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses.” Don’t be deceived, it is battle of a moral and spiritual nature and one that must be enjoined. For far and away too long we all have been “groomed”, and none more so than our children. There is open fear that saying anything in opposition to whatever is being driven, will cause one to be criticized, ostracized, disparaged or worse. It is time to stand up and be counted. The well-being of our children is at stake, as well as that of the nation.

“Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.” (Proverbs 14:34) The agenda being put forth by LGBTQ proponents clearly stands in stark opposition to the word of God. How can we as a nation, with the motto of “In God We Trust” turn a blind eye to what is being set forth and accepted? Leaders in many of the denominations have made sweeping changes in order to compromise so as to accept those involved in LGBTQ-ism. Which has caused great consternation within their ranks. Would that they all would awaken to the need to get back to the truth and uphold it.

“All your children shall be taught by the Lord. And great shall be the peace of your children.” (Isaiah 54:13)

Parents need to be aware of what is being taught in school as well as what is being pushed societally, and to embrace fully what Paul sets forth with respect to children, “but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)

Matt Walsh, in his non-fiction book “Church of Cowards” with the subtitle of “A Wake-Up Call to Complacent Christians”, throws down the gauntlet appealing to all who make the claim of following God to grow a backbone. “Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.” (1Corinthians 16:13...see also Ephesians 6:13-15, 1Peter 5:8) We cannot be conformed to the world, but we must be transformed, and that by the renewing of the mind. (Romans 12:1-2). Children are precious and need our protection.
