Godly End of Life Decisions
Godly End of Life Decisions
This topic was voted as a preferred class by the church in 2022. It is a difficult subject & I’m not aware of a workbook that would fit our needs. This workbook is an attempt to help us come to class prepared. Each week has some selected verses to consider & a list of discussion questions. The timing of our class is outside of our control. If at any time, someone feels a need to skip the discussion, I want to encourage you to NOT feel guilty for doing so. My prayer is that we will all come away from this class strengthened in our faithful embrace of God’s designs for life & death. I solicit your prayers. I’ve only ever done a single class on the subject. I don’t know fully what to expect for most of these classes.

It is likely that at some point we will have snow impact class attendance. The nature of this class is not ideal for ZOOM discussions. Therefore, we may be required to make adjustments as we go due to unforeseen circumstances.
Resources Consulted for this workbook:
Between Life & Death: A Gospel-Centered Guide to End-of-Life Medical Care by K. Butler (2019)
Departing In Peace: Biblical Decision Making at the End of Life by Bill Davis (2017)
The Art of Dying: Living Fully Into the Life To Come by Rob Moll (2010)
Opening Questions: This quarter our opening class questions will come from case studies that stemmed from Bill Davis’ 2017 book, Departing in Peace. A packet of these hypothetical scenarios will be made available separate from this workbook. Each week we will begin by reading the case study & soliciting feedback from the class. This material is completely optional.
